In 2014 the assistance truck cargo box was so nearly derelict that the team decided to change it. The new box was built by Carroçarias Sabino, having been designed by Engineer João Sabino to be solid and not too expensive. To facilitate good thermic insulation iron, aluminium sheets and a high density expanded polystyrene sheathing were used.
The outside look and structure were kept but inside it was reorganized to correspond to our needs. Therefore, each item has now its proper place and a support structure.
Full of material and completely renovated, it is ready to keep supporting Elisabete Jacinto’s team, and it also carries the hope and dreams of good sports results.
